Summary

Samuel Bayer directs this reinvention of Wes Craven's 1984 slasher classic about Freddy Krueger, a serial killer who crosses the boundary between dreams and the waking world to gut his victims with his razor-sharp blade-fingered glove. Not nearly as terrifying as the original. To be honest i've laughed.

A fun reboot. Jackie Earle Haley's "Freddy" is a bit less of a comedian than Englund's, and slightly more of a creep. Worth a hoot.
