Summary

Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) and Detective Sgt. Dan Scott (John Hopkins) must put their heads together to determine whether solicitor Nick Turner's fatal dive from a rooftop was suicide or murder. Complicating the case is the gruesome death of Turner's rival -- a lawyer named Otto Benham (Oliver Ford Davies) -- who was drugged and used for a particularly sinister type of target practice.
