Summary

Reformed burglar and dancer Max Washington (Gregory Hines) has been out of prison for only two days and he's already faced with a dilemma that could dictate his future: Stay clear of trouble or hit pay dirt. A friend hopes to make him the star of a big show, but his former partners in crime want him to join them in a major jewel heist -- and they won't be refused. It'll take some fancy footwork to keep Max on stage and out of trouble.
