Summary

After learning that his estranged son has been killed, the grieving Romain (Lino Ventura) discovers that the victim was in fact another man -- and that his missing son has been named the prime suspect in a puzzling murder mystery. Determined to locate his son and clear his name, Romain sets out to find him with the help of a woman (Angie Dickinson) whose complicated past makes his search all the more interesting.
