Summary

Aimee Brower (Trish Van Devere) has the perfect life, including a fulfilling marriage to college professor James (Paul Jenkins). But when James files for divorce so he can romance one of his students, Amy must strike out on her own for the first time in her life. She soon finds hope in a women's support group and an elderly widower (Melvyn Douglas). Van Devere's performance garnered director Mel Stuart's film a Golden Globe nomination.
