Summary

The varsity basketball team at Morningside High School has to contend with more than just tough opponents; this documentary reveals some of the larger issues the players at the inner-city school must face. Wesley Snipes narrates the action, following the Inglewood, Calif., team for the entire 1992 season as they pursue their second consecutive championship, all the while dealing with violence, drinking, scrapes with the law and jealousy.
