Summary

In this classic comic opera from Mozart, featuring the music of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, humble servant Figaro (Knut Skram) attempts to outwit his employer, Count Almaviva, and win the heart of the beautiful maid Susanna (Ileana Cotrubas). The Countess, played by superb soprano Kiri Te Kanawa, is disappointed by her husband's waning love and joins the plot to teach him a lesson he will not soon forget.
