Summary

After a young woman is murdered in rural Sweden, small-town cop Kurt Wallander (Rolf Lassgård) investigates and soon finds himself at the center of an international conspiracy plot in South Africa. There, our fish-out-of-water hero doggedly pursues the perpetrator. Director Pelle Berglund's film, which features a cameo by Nelson Mandela, is the third in a series of Swedish mysteries based on the novels of Henning Mankell.
