Summary
One of the superb live series from the golden age of television, "Studio One" featured both famous actors and future stars. These two installments include "Sentence of Death," starring an unknown James Dean in the tale of a convicted felon, and "The Night America Trembled" featuring Edward R. Murrow in a dramatization of the panic created by Orson Welles's "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast. Vincent Gardenia, Ed Asner and Warren Beatty co-star.
