Summary

After his new wife leaves him, a hapless bridegroom (Joe Alaskey) receives an invitation from a beautiful blond stranger (Donna Dixon) to accompany her home for Christmas. But what he doesn't know is that she's a descendant of the Donner Party -- a group of frontier settlers who ate one another to stay alive -- and that they'll be sampling an old family recipe. Anthony Perkins (Psycho) helms this black comedy morsel, his final film as a director.
