Summary

The beautiful French Riviera serves as the backdrop for director René Clément's tale of suspense, which finds gigolo Marc (Alain Delon) -- who's on the run from a mobster -- seeking refuge in what seems an ideal hideaway. He takes a job as live-in chauffeur to wealthy widow Barbara (Lola Albright) and her curvaceous cousin, Melinda (Jane Fonda). Unfortunately, Marc overestimates his sanctuary: His new employers aren't as innocent as they seem.
