Summary

Artist Eben Adams (Joseph Cotten) has never been able to impress infuential art dealer Henry Matthews with his work, until he meets a schoolgirl in Central Park named Jennie (Jennifer Jones). When Eben sketches Jennie, it expresses more emotion than anything else he's ever done. There is a mystical quality about this girl, and she intrigues him with the way she chats on about things that happened years ago.
