Summary

Michael Richards (Kramer of TV's "Seinfeld") makes his starring debut as struggling actor Richard Rietti, who gets his big break in an unexpected venue: the courtroom. When his lawyer pal Charles (Jeff Daniels) is too hung over to show up in court, he persuades Rietti to impersonate him. A simple case quickly becomes a legal circus with Rietti as the ringmaster. Charlize Theron co-stars, in one of her first major roles.
