Summary

Set in 1916 amid political unrest on Ireland's Dingle Peninsula, this epic tale stars Sarah Miles as Rosy Ryan, a naïve young girl trapped in a loveless marriage to schoolmaster Charles Shaughnessy (Robert Mitchum).
