Summary

The inimitable William Powell stars as Arthur Peabody, a businessman who seeks to cure his midlife blues by vacationing in the Caribbean with his wife, Polly (Irene Hervey). But his fishing trip hits a snag when he reels in an amazing catch: a gorgeous mermaid (Ann Blyth). Naming his new companion Lenore, Arthur promptly falls in love with her, although her habit of disappearing around strangers makes her existence a little difficult to prove.
