Summary

In director Richard Linklater's coming-of-age story, Jeff (Giovanni Ribisi), Tim (Nicky Katt) and their shiftless pals while away the night at the local convenience store as shop clerk Nazeer (Ajay Naidu), an ambitious engineering student, looks scornfully on. Eric Bogosian's adaptation of his sardonic play sets the parking lot ablaze with ambivalence when a classmate-turned-rock-star (Jayce Bartok) promises to swing by that evening after a gig.
