Summary

When a socialist politician (Ray McAnally) is elected prime minister in Britain, his first move is to dismantle the nation's nuclear defenses. Before long, British spies, diplomats and captains of industry conspire to stage what they call a "very british coup." Winner of several BAFTA awards, this television miniseries based on the novel by British MP Chris Mullen also stars Keith Allen and Alan MacNaughtan.
